The ObserverBuoy 3m integrates JASCO’s proven OceanObserver electronics into a rugged, 3-metre buoy engineered for long-term, autonomous operation in demanding ocean environments. The system performs onboard acoustic processing to deliver actionable, real-time insights without the need for continuous human oversight. Acoustic results, system status, and updates are transmitted to shore via multiple wireless communication links and can be accessed online or distributed automatically to users in the field. The ObserverBuoy 3m is well suited for applications requiring reliable, on-site monitoring, including marine mammal observation, offshore construction, and environmental compliance programs.
